The Item Taxes menu option enables you to define the tax applied to each item.

For this reason, you must define the sales tax codes before you define item taxes.

By defining sales tax codes and grouping them to create item taxes, you can accommodate any tax combinations.


When you click Item Taxes, you will see a list of all your related taxes. Click New to create a tax.



 Fields

 Description

 Name

 The name assigned to the Item Tax (tax code).

 Code

 The number by which the sales tax can be referenced.

 Order

 Enter the number so that the Tax is applied as per the number sequence. 

 The Item tax is assigned as per the number in ascending order on saving the record.

 Sales Tax Selection

 Select the Sales taxes from the drop-down menu. To add another Sales tax, click on the '+' icon.

 You can select a maximum of 10 sales tax.

On completion, click on the Save button.
